Located in Harleysville, PA, I am the owner of this little candle business that I still consider a hobby because of my love for candle making. My interest started back in the late 1990's when I would try to save money by combining the wax that was left at the bottom of the jars from the expensive candle companies. I taught myself how to melt the wax, buy whatever wicks I could find at a craft store, and produced a brand new candle to enjoy for another few days. Burning candles every day gets expensive!
Years later when candle making kits were emerging in most craft stores, I took up the hobby again, but wasn’t very impressed with the selection of scents, colors or waxes. I researched, ordered products from several different distributors in the US, and found the highest quality products at reasonable prices.
I started making candles for my own personal use or gave them as gifts to my friends and family for special occasions. Before too long, people were placing orders and asking where they could find my candles! From there….LUNALITES was born.
I am extremely delighted with the soy wax blend that I use to compliment the bold scents and intense colors in each candle. You can be certain that whatever scent is listed on the label, the candle aroma is true to form. I use zinc or cotton wicks, depending on the size of the container, and will always have a vast array of scents and jars to keep things interesting. My packaging is simple to keep costs down and I will always try to keep my prices low. After all, that’s how my business started in the first place!
